Upcoming Events

Applications will open up on September 11, 2026 for the next group of amazing Veterans to join us in the Andy Quattlebaum Warrior Hunt.  We are excited to host Veterans from across the country for #WarriorHunt in February 2027 that have shared values with the foundation.  Veterans start at Camp Woodie in Pinewood, South Carolina.  While at Camp Woodie, the South Carolina Shorebirds Quilts of Valor chapter will present Quilts of Valor to Veterans followed by a group dinner.  The following morning all participants will participate in sporting clays and a pheasant tower shoot.  Going into our third year, this event has hosted numerous first-time duck hunters who received shotgun training before shooting.  When completed we will move to Whitehouse Farms in Georgetown, South Carolina for the benefit dinner and auction.  Proceeds from the auction will support the Georgetown Chapter of South Carolina Waterfowl Association.  On the first youth and Veterans hunting days all participants will be taken duck hunting on one of several historic properties in the Georgetown area.
